Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By using Mailly (mailly.xyz, "the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Service is provided by Mailly ("we", "us"), based in British Columbia, Canada.
2. What Mailly does
Mailly provides free, temporary, receive-only email addresses. Anyone with the address can read its inbox. Messages are automatically deleted after 1 hour. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no recovery.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mailly to:
- Commit fraud, identity theft, or other illegal activity under the laws of British Columbia or Canada
- Receive mail intended for someone else without authorization
- Bypass account verification on services that prohibit disposable email
- Distribute, receive, or store illegal content (including but not limited to material that is sexually exploitative of minors)
- Abuse, harass, defame, or impersonate any person
- Attempt to overwhelm, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service
- Attempt to evade rate limits, automated abuse detection, or the bot challenge
We may block, throttle, or remove access for any user we believe is violating these rules.
4. No privacy guarantee
The address is the only access control. Anyone who knows or guesses your disposable address can read every message sent to it until it expires. Don't use Mailly for password resets, two-factor codes, bank or medical communications, or anything else you wouldn't want a stranger to see.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to CAD $0 (it's a free service).
7. Third-party services and ads
Mailly relies on third parties for hosting, network protection, and (with your consent) ads. Their terms apply when their content is shown to you. Ads served by Google AdSense are subject to Google's ad policies.
8. Termination
We can suspend or stop the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Your right to use the Service ends immediately when you violate these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The most recent version is always posted here. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
